Amazing Omakase, chef Mike is such an artist. I would strongly recommend anyone who is passionate about sushi to go.

Some of the best sushi I've had anywhere in the world (including Japan). Thank you chef Mike and Nhi for your passion and dedication to your craft.

Chef Mike will ruin nigiri sushi for you. You will not find this kind of quality anywhere in Austin. Trust me, I love sushi and I'm from here. I honestly could write an essay on how amazing the food is, but I'll keep this short and sweet. Chef Mike will give you an unforgettable experience with his story telling. You will be there for about 3 hours but time truly stands still while you're there. Make sure you order a bottle of sake, it'll make it that much more fun. I've been twice now and he does change it up which also keeps me eager for my next experience. The uni bisque was nothing like I ever had before. Make sure you try the extended menu, it even gets better and you're lucky to even be there so don't miss out! Chef Mike is such a cool down to earth guy once you get to know him some. His story of how he got where he is at truly makes the experience that much more special. Thank you Chef Mike for never giving up or else all of us would have never had such an amazing experience! Now $99 for the prefix course is still a hell of a deal for what you are getting. Chef Mike goes great distances to get the freshest fish and barely makes a profit due to the high cost of his product so make sure you tip BIG to keep this place running! The room only sits 8 making it very initiate and is always a good crowd. Make sure to set your alarm to try to get reservations. They truly sell out within a minute and they only do it once every 4 months or so. Add yourself to the notify me list if you don't get lucky for certain days.

Absolutely amazing. The rice is to die for. I will definitely be coming back just as soon as we can get in a reservation again.

Edomae Style Omakase experience with Chef Mike was delicious. But there was something else I loved more. . . . As a child we all doodled and created the sun and the mountains. I remember trying to get better even if it meant drawing a rounded looking sun. As we grew up, we all took our own creative paths. For Chef Mike his creative path has lead him to dedicate his life to Edomae style sushi. I witnessed his meditative state as he practiced his craft and served us delicious masterpieces, one after the other. His love for his craft was inspiring. Sometimes we need reminding what is it that we love doing. We loved to doodle as a child. It wasn’t because we wanted to get rich or popular or get Instagram likes. It was because we loved to do it. Nothing else mattered.
