I made a phone order on Friday for a key lime pie to be picked on Sunday afternoon. I arrived at the store and the poor girl behind the counter looked like a deer in the headlights when I told her I was here to pick up my order. There was no pie and no way to have it made. This was for a birthday. I felt like was in an episode of Seinfeld, "you know how to take the reservation, you just don 't know how to HOLD the reservation. "I purposely preordered and set a date and time for pickup because it was a 45 minute drive. I ended up spending 1.5 hrs on the road, fuel burned, money taken and no pie for the birthday party. They are refunding my money but I feel like I lost so much more.With some many other great options for pie in Austin, I won 't be fooled by Tiny Pies again.
