there is nothing remarkable about this friendly neighbour gay bar! the bar staff is friendly, great jukebox, nice men (and youngs) and fun atmosphere. iron bear is very involved in the LGBT community and hostess and numerous fundraisers and beer busts regularly. View all feedback.
The restaurant is a cozy neighborhood spot where regulars are familiar with each other, making it a bit difficult for newcomers to socialize and join in the conversation.
This place is a great spot to relax with welcoming bartenders. I highly recommend trying the Tequila **** Maria on Sundays - the bartender made one of the best ones I've ever had.
This gay bar is a lively spot with a fun atmosphere, but it can get very loud and crowded. The energy of 6th street on weekends is definitely not for the faint of heart!
Stumbled in on the place, came back twice in my time in Austin. It has 4 frozen alcoholic drink choices ready to serve and good bar eats. I met one of the owners and a manager, both very welcoming. We had a great time, definitely plan on coming back when I return to Austin.
Welcoming place. Nice vibe early, before upping the energy late.Good bar food.Blended drinks were perfect on 100+ degree day.
