Feedback
The Hightower offers a mixed experience, with some meals receiving high praise while others fall short. The menu is ambitious but lacks focus, with small portions and slow service noted. Several diners find the food creative and delicious, especially the chicken and waffles. However, issues such as poor air conditioning, a warm dining room, and slow service detract from the overall dining experience. Despite mixed reviews, many patrons appreciate the friendly service and unique atmosphere at The Hightower, making it a popular spot for Happy Hour and brunch gatherings.
This place is super sweet. Dog-friendly. Very tasty food. Great service. I took a star because my food hatch was warm... closer to the cold, but it tasted good. You have a big **** Mary Bar. It comes with a little beer. Coffee was hot. I didn't drink it, but I could see how the heat goes off and my little cousin burned his lips. Not the restaurants to blame... lol
Came in on a thirsty. There was a fast, helpful and friendly service. The place has a beautiful atmosphere. The atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth that I loved.
This place is just great! From art on the walls to friendly staff, they have a great vision and decor. The food is great and unique. I can't say that traditional Mexican dishes like them do great for a long brunch with friends.
I can't emphasize enough how amazing the pork jowl was; every element in the dish had a subtle flavor and was wonderfully balanced. It might just be the best thing I've ever eaten. Our waitress was very attentive and took the time to answer all our questions about the menu. My wife ordered the dumplings, which were equally delicious. The standout of the meal, surprisingly, was the cornbread—I have no idea what kind of sorcery is happening in that kitchen, but it definitely works. You absolutely need to try this place; you won't regret it.
This restaurant is exceptional! The artwork on the walls and the welcoming staff contribute to a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Their concept and ambiance are absolutely delightful. The food is remarkable and distinctive—I've never found a place that brings such creativity to traditional Mexican cuisine. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely brunch with friends!
