The Dogwood Rock Rose - Austin

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant due to the discriminatory service. I wasn't allowed entry because my pants didn't have a zipper, yet the bouncer was wearing a hoodie and jeans. This establishment isn't even a high-end bar that would justify a strict dress code. I do not recommend this place; it's best to spend your money elsewhere. Businesses like this shouldn't be in operation.

The atmosphere here is really pleasant, especially with the rooftop terrace—a great spot to watch people stroll by on the street. However, I did notice a lingering smell of garbage at times. It seems like the concrete could use a thorough cleaning.

Dogwood is consistently a great option! I've visited both the Houston and Austin locations, and it's clear that it's a trend worth following. The back area is perfect for enjoying a drink or two, or for catching a game. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Definitely a place I’ll return to!

Love come here for happy hour or just need to work some dog friendly! They had a great theme of St. Patrick's Day.

Great location, Good food and fantastic service. Tator tots were on point and the Chicken and Waffles were a perfect balance of savory and sweet.
