Loved the Mezcal drink, it had interesting flavors that meshed together real well. The Thai drink was pretty but a bit sweet for me. The inside of Whislers has a great ambiance and all the bartenders are fast, friendly, and helpful. There isn't a whole bunch of room inside, but it has a enclosed tent area that's perfect for the over flow and you don't have to sit out in the elements. View all feedback.

Whislers is one of the many bars you can find along the East 6. Not my favorite, but a lot. It is a popular place, but you need to wonder if the atmosphere is worth the price tag. The cheapest drink is $14 and it's only from there. The inner bar is dark and atmospheric, it is also cramped and moist on weekends. An interesting feature is the upper Mezcal Bar. Fantastic drinks and decor. The staff is not very warm, but they did the job. Nice and airy on one side for Kovid security.

We visited Whislers during their Mardi Grass Party and I LOVED it! I had a hurricane that was more than satisfied, and I definitely needed only one. This cozy bar has a great atmosphere, fast bartenders and decent prices. They also had a cancer provider from Louisiana who made my day!
Cool spot, spooky interior(? idk what the theme was but I was into it. Really interesting drinks with fun unique ingredients. I liked what I got but I was drunk and now I don't remember what it was called! Good place to wait for your Suerte reservation too
Stopped by for a drink on Friday night with some friends after dinner at Tamale House, a short walk away. It was loud and crowded, as bars tend to be, but still a pretty cool vibe overall. It didn't take too long to find a table outside, which was less loud and much more chill. There was also a food truck on site. Ordered at the bar; my friend got the seasonal frozen which was a frozen blackberry margarita--very pretty and nicely made (not just slush) but not to my taste. I got a Tito's lemon drop which wasn't bad but I didn't love the bartender's pizazz of adding pepper or something like that. Still drank it but probably wouldn't spend $12 on it again. Overall a cool spot with nothing to complain about!
