It's funny how good the Indian food truck is on the 6th Street. The neighboring Chinese food truck is syrup covered frozen chicken, barely edible food, meanwhile the Dal and chickens Curry slaps feels as hard as it is here straight from Delhi View all feedback.
What S B doesn't like about Taste From India:
Few days ago i order chicken tikia masala , and tast like chicken hanging on sunlight so dry , rice was so hard ,i think it's taken from chiller and reheated, they just making bad impression on indian food all about taste like 0 i would recommend never go on View all feedback.
A few days ago, I ordered chicken tikka masala, and it tasted as if the chicken had been left out in the sun—so dry! The rice was incredibly hard; it seemed like it had been taken from a chiller and simply reheated. This restaurant is giving a terrible impression of Indian food, as everything tasted bland. I would not recommend going there.
I ordered chicken kebabs, but I was served lamb instead. Mistakes can happen, and that's understandable, but the staff member insisted it was chicken despite the obvious difference. Instead of acknowledging the error, he chose to argue about it. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I know how things operate, and it's important to be truthful. There are many people who do not eat lamb, and it's easy to tell the difference in both appearance and taste. I would never recommend this place to anyone—my experience here was the worst, and the biryani rice was undercooked as well.
Perfect for satisfying late-night cravings. The portions are generous, but let's be honest—this is American Indian cuisine, so it's somewhat bland. The spice level in authentic Indian food will surely delight your taste buds, so be sure to seek that out. Enjoy your meal!
I've been eating here on and off for over 5 years. I usually would get samosa's or paneer but last night was my first time trying the Lentils over Rice. My goodness it was so damn good I had to jump on here and write a review. I'll add a picture next time I order it again. It was too good to stop for a photo last night.
First: guy used bare hands on my samosa. Gross. Then I found out they don't have the green cilantro sauce. The samosa tastes like it's from a frozen package at Costco they fried up. This is an unacceptable place to eat.
