The food at spice Indian is cuisine is very flavorful and delicious! All of the ingredients pair perfectly together with all the dishes I tried. I got an order of the fish tiki masala, lamb korma, and an order of the veggie samosas. I thought the veggie samosas packed quite a punch with them on the spice level. Not much of a wait for a Saturday, several to go orders.I started with samosas chicken and they were delicious, I inhaled them and were very tasty. I added pepper chicken which was very tender. Service was sort of hit or miss even with it being a slow night. I had to wait for water to be filled. I had a wonderful experience dining at Daawat and wanted to share it. My friends and I have been frequenting Daawat for the past year, and the quality of the food has been consistently excellent. The ambiance is inviting and enjoyable as well. I've introduced several friends to this restaurant, and they all left satisfied and happy. It's priced reasonably, making it worth every penny. Daawat India Cuisine is truly a delightful symphony of flavors!
The food was excellently cooked, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The meats were perfectly tender! The portion sizes were generous, and we all ordered different dishes to share. We even ended up needing takeout boxes by the end of the night because we were so full. We left happy and satisfied with our meal. All of us at the table have been in the restaurant industry, so it was refreshing to experience such a high level of service. Our drinks were always topped off, and we never had an empty plate in front of us. I definitely plan to come back for lunch or dinner, and I'm thrilled to have discovered this gem, especially since I live just a few blocks away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian food or is trying it for the first time!
We recently celebrated our son's 1yr birthday at Daawat Banquet hall. The owners were courteous and pleasant to work with. The Daawat team went above and beyond to help us with the event planning and decoration. The decoration turned out to be great. The food was delicious. We couldn't have been happier. Thanks for making our son's birthday party memorable.
Great Buffet ! Awesome Desert !! and Mindblowing juicy Vegetarian Curries !!! They always maintain the consistency in preparing the veg curries. That's what I like about them. So far I have been there couple of times and would like to go again and again. I recommend this restaurant to all new comers in Austin who have never tried Indian food before. It is one of the best Indian restaurant in North Austin.
Recently ordered catering service from this restaurant for Baby shower party. The food was awesome. Both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian dishes were super yummy. Dessert Rasamalai is good. A new vegetarian curry called Phool Makhani was very tasty, never had it before, it was a great addition to our party delicacies. Chicken 555 is worth a mention, definite must try.
