While some patrons celebrate the delicious donuts and the nostalgic experience, others express disappointment in inconsistent flavors and rising prices for kolaches and coffee. Shipley Do-nuts doesn’t offer a drive-thru, which leads to a hectic Saturday morning with many customers waiting in line. Around ten staff members were working hard behind the counter to handle the busy crowd. The food from the menu was fresh and served hot, but the flavored iced coffee fell short of expectations—I'm not sure it was prepared correctly.
Shipley Do-nuts is a reliable place to curb your sweet cravings, though it doesn’t offer much excitement or a lively vibe. The variety is straightforward, featuring plain shelves with typical donuts. Sadly, the staff I encountered weren’t very welcoming.
I just left Shipley Do-nuts and felt unwelcome during my visit. When I walked in, no one acknowledged me, but two men who arrived right after me were greeted. This really upset me!
This is our favorite spot for donuts, and while their donuts are fantastic, I've noticed that the prices for their kolaches and coffee have increased while the quality has decreased. I would still visit just for the donuts, but I had to throw away a $3 cup of coffee today because it was so disappointing.
Great variety of donuts! The kids will definitely love the sugar high.
