Rosedale Kitchen And - Austin

Nice neighborhood spot. Menu is fairly limited, but the food was fresh, and the place has a nice vibe. My only suggestion is why do Austin restaurants play rap music for diners? Do they assume we are all under 30 and like that stuff while we eat? How about some jazz or bossa nova music?

Music was WAY TOO LOUD. Ridiculously loud. Everyone likes energetic music, but only being able to hear every third word from across the table is absurd. We sat at one of the big booths and we ended up only being able to talk to the people closest to us. Rosedale is way too expensive for what you get and for mediocre service. Our server acted like she really didn 't want to be there. She wasn 't rude, but certainly not friendly. The six of us were there celebrating a family member starting at UT--looking back, wish we would have gone someplace else. Rosedale Kitchen is good for lunch--definitely never going back for dinner.

Food way too salty!! Service slow. Music incredibly loud!! Disappointing because my previous visit was delightful.

Great food and service. It was my first time and I loved it. I will be back.
