I was craving soul food before leaving Austin and stumbled upon this restaurant. I have to say, it was outstanding! The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and exceptional.
As a vegan, I didn’t eat here myself, but I did accompany my wife inside. I’ve never heard anyone smack and chew their food as loudly as she did. Who can lick their fingers that loudly? My wife can! Given that, I’m going to assume the food here is truly exceptional. For me, it was all about the atmosphere. I grew up in the rural areas of Georgia, and we had places like this. The sense of community, camaraderie, and the joy of being around people enjoying delicious soul food brought back so many fond memories.

During my visit to Austin, Texas, I was on the hunt for some soul food, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. The food was absolutely incredible, and the staff was both friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in search of tasty soul food!
