The brisket was incredibly tender, the jalapeño cheese sausage was creamy and delicious, and the ribs were perfectly soft and smoky.

I ordered the two-meat platter, which featured brisket and beef sausage, served with broccoli salad and pinto beans. The brisket was incredibly tender, sliced perfectly, and had a delightful charred exterior that imparted a wonderful smoky flavor. The sausage was also tender and packed with flavor. However, the pinto beans fell a bit flat in taste, despite having a good amount of pork in them. The real highlight for me was the broccoli salad—it was absolutely delicious! The service was quick and friendly, contributing to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. While I probably wouldn’t make a special trip just to return, I would certainly stop by if I were in the area and craving some BBQ.

On this trip, I tried this restaurant for the first time and m... read more I'm from Idaho, and every time I visit Austin, I always make it a point to explore the BBQ scene. On this trip, I tried this restaurant for the first time and mentioned that to the person at the counter. He kindly offered my friend and me a fantastic sample plate with 5 or 6 different types of meat. We both decided on the 2-meat plate, which comes with two sides. My friend picked corn and baked beans, while I chose corn and a drink, along with ribs and brisket. Everything was exceptional! However, my friend felt the baked beans were just okay. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Austin!
