Nice place. Clean and well maintained. Friendly and professional staff. Good food. Good quantity and quality. Their mushroom fries and cream brulee are really good. Nice place for causal dining. The place can be a bit loud. The Texas mule is reallygood.

Service was fantastic, the mushroom fritters and escargot were both winners. Cocktails were great. The only let down was the sweetbreads, they lacked flavor and the dish was just heavy with butter. It would have been better with some acid, but overall, great experience. We'll be back

The burger is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The scallops were also perfectly cooked. Soft and creamy. The ketchup has a unique sweetness from the apple cider vinegar, and the fries are so delicious. The service was excellent. The waiter left us alone justenough that we weren't being bothered, but was still very helpful and attentive. Chocolate tort was decadent but I didn't hatemyself after eating. Same with the burger. Clean flavor profiles and nothing was greasy.

I had made a reservation for the next evening with my friends and colleagues. I stopped by the night before to check the place out and it met all of my expectations. The bartender was knowledgeable, made excellent craft cocktails, and had goodrecommendations for what to do in Austin while in town for a conference. The next night, six of us had dinner there and thefood was fantastic. The one was delicious and well priced. The bourbon selection is excellent and more than fairlypriced. Their cocktails are top of the line. Consider trying one with absinthe. See the video for the classic presentation.Their Weller 12 year is very well priced.

For our main courses, we ordered duck confit and beef tenderloin, along with a crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was exceptional. I also appreciated that the entrées were generous enough to be satisfying on their own, which is a welcome change in a time when "small plates" are so common in upscale dining. Visiting on a Tuesday was a great choice because the restaurant was not too crowded. I could imagine it could get a bit loud and packed on weekends, as the tables are quite close together. If you have the chance to visit during the week, I highly recommend this place—the food is truly unforgettable!
