Panera Bread - Austin
Panera Bread
Description
Panera Bakery offers a mixed experience with standout food quality but inconsistent service. Customers praise the fresh ingredients and tasty macaroni and cheese, soups, and sandwiches, making it a family-friendly choice, especially for children. Many appreciate the helpful, attentive staff and quick service during busy times. However, some patrons find portion sizes small for the price, and occasional customer service lapses, including unwelcoming attitudes and minimal staff interaction, have been noted. Issues like uneven bagel slicing and rising prices impact value perception. Overall, Panera remains a convenient and reliable spot, though price and service inconsistency may affect repeat visits.

Michelle and her manager Jerrod were incredibly helpful and thoughtful when we thought our high schooler had left his laptop behind last night. They offered to check the camera footage to help us figure out where it might be. Thankfully, we found the laptop! Plus, Panera is a very family-friendly restaurant, and our picky five- and eight-year-olds really enjoy their soups. The teens and adults also love the salads and sandwiches.
It's a pity that bread options are unavailable after 1 PM. This is likely due to their delicious items selling out early. However, if you're lucky, you might still find something available.
Panera Bread has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I appreciate the wide selection of sandwiches, soups, and other options they offer. One of the aspects I like most is the consistency of the food; you can always count on a fresh and delicious meal, whether you choose a sandwich, soup, or a combination of both. Their grilled panini sandwiches are also exceptional.
It's unfortunate that bread options aren't available after 1:00 PM. They have such delicious offerings that are prepared early, but with a bit of luck, you might still find something.
