**A Hidden Gem for Vegan Delights** Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming establishment exudes friendliness and warmth, making it a perfect spot for a light meal and refreshing drinks. While the presentation of dishes like tacos and wraps is visually impressive, some diners find the flavors a bit subdued, suggesting a touch more seasoning could elevate the experience. However, standout offerings such as the birria tacos and the house-made vegan sausage delight many patrons. The attentive staff enhance the welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel at home. With a diverse menu and excellent coffee, this cafe is a delightful discovery for vegan enthusiasts.

Was JulieDarner at Opera Café a mag?
Staff is very attentive. Asked me how things were multiple times while I was there. The taco I had was soooooo good. The vegan sausage they use has so much flavor and she told me it’s pea protein. The bagel with super toasty. Their cream cheese is a little sweet. Good texture. View all feedback.
What ponchoswindow dislikes about Opera Café:
This establishment is well manicured and the employees are so sweet and helpful. I did however feel like the food was a little bit lacking in flavor. The sandwich I had was nice but could have used some more sauce or a dip maybe. The wrap we got was more like half of a Taco Bell quesadilla. The wrap lacked flavor also, perhaps salt? Otherwise great place for drinks and a light meal. View all feedback.
The chai vanilla lattes here are amazing! They've also just painted a new mural on the wall, and it looks fantastic!

Texas might not be famous for its vegan food, but I struck gold today when I found this hidden gem! Since moving to Texas, I've been relying on macro bars for sustenance. However, today I enjoyed a delicious brunch wrap, while my niece savored a classic burger—totally unaware it was vegan! I left feeling very satisfied, though I could have easily devoured two servings myself. This is an update from my previous review on April 3, 2022.
Whether you’re vegan or not, everyone can find something to enjoy here. Opting for more plant-based options means you’ll have fresh, delicious, and healthy meals. We really enjoy the salads, burgers, and fresh hummus. The location is incredibly convenient, the staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable with generous portion sizes. Let’s support our local small businesses!
The food here is incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by how closely it resembled authentic flavors. I ordered the birria tacos, and they were absolutely exquisite. The chaga latte was nothing short of heavenly. I highly recommend this charming little spot. Come with an open mind, and you'll definitely be satisfied!
