During my visit to Always Milano Cafe in Austin, I had the Kalb Picatta last night, and it was fantastic. They also have a great wine list!
My wife and I had some discussions about what rating to give this restaurant, and we settled on 4 stars. Everything was good, but not outstanding. On the positive side, the portion sizes were reasonable instead of excessively large, the sauces were not overly sweet, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. However, on the downside, the pasta was slightly overcooked, and some of the dishes were a bit dirty. Overall, I would say it’s the best Italian restaurant within a 5-mile radius of our home, but unfortunately, that’s not saying much. We will definitely come back, but it's not a place we would choose for a last-minute visit.

Absolutely the best gnocchi in the city! sammy and his chef are never disappointed!
Bathroom were dirty, that's in the first sign something wrong. eating was not much better. Eating took 40 minutes to get out, but I'm okay with waiting when it's good. we ordered a lasagne to share, and the beautiful waitress brought out 2. I asked if that was a portion, and the waitress said yes, that is a portion. So I thought, okay, they split it up for us. Unfortunately, when the bill came, it was calculated as two portions. I went forward to clearness what happened, and the dame that leads the place gave me a hard time. it took several minutes to explain and back and forth to remove them from the bill. She has disgustingly removed it, but her attitude was insulting. they insisted that they ate it so they should pay. they cannot calculate a customer for something they did not order, and did not even know that they ordered after the arrival, that is, the customer service was embarrassing. as far as the lasagne itself is concerned, it was best to be mediocre. it was so much that I could only taste mozzarella. it had very little taste. it wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
