Meadows Coffeehouse - Austin
Meadows Coffeehouse
Description
Tucked in downtown Austin, this bustling, student-frequented café serves excellent, creatively named coffee—mochas, robust cold brews and a dark roast—alongside pizza, house peanut-butter cups and bags of beans to go. Friendly staff and speedy service make it a popular spot for studying and remote work; dine-in and outdoor seating are well spaced and Wi‑Fi is reliable (access via purchase code). Limited parking, single-user locked restrooms and occasional mask lapses are minor drawbacks.
Feedback
This is an excellent coffee shop located in downtown Austin. The prices are reasonable, the internet is reliable, and the coffee is excellent as well. I sampled their pizza and one of their homemade peanut butter cups, both of which were delicious. I'm really going to miss visiting this place.
Beautiful little coffee shop. It was super busy and full of college students quietly studying by themselves or in groups, so it seems like a great place for getting work done. The coffee was excellent and had fun literature based names for the mochas. Despite the crowd, the coffee came out very quickly.
Some sequels don't live up to the original but this Bennu is familiar enough but not just a copy of the original. I've always had good service here, seating is nice inside or outside, and a great spot to work or study. They have some great options that aren't the standard affair: you can a steamed cold brew with a local made butter/MCT oil bomb or my favorite a red roobios tea called Texas Gold (cinnamon amazing flavor and no caffeine) parking is limited and the other businesses will tow during regular hours. At the moment not 24 hours but not much is these days.
First time going here since living in Austin since 2017. Cool environment and bought a bag of their dark roast. Been enjoying it at home this week and it's very good.
