Was Omer Mayer at Ma'coco a mag?
The food and drinks were excellent. I had made a reservation in advance and requested a table by the entrance. When I asked for a different table, I was offered a high-top, which wasn't to our liking. I inquired about another two-top table, but was informed that it wasn't available, which I found a bit odd. What HowardV dislikes about Ma'coco:
I noise level was unbearable. Between the music and the heavy metal chairs scraping on the concrete floor, I would never go back. The food was just OK. The service was excellent. View all feedback.

The ceviche was delicious the watermelon cocktail was awesome! The fish tacos were battered perfectly but they are a large dish! (Not complaining haha)
The food and service were both great! I was really impressed with the food; we ordered carne asada fries and the salsa sampler (home flour tortilla chips!!!!! , drinks, enchiladas, tacos and the churro donuts. The churro donuts hands down are the best donuts I’ve ever had anywhere, and the food reminded me so much of back home (Arizona . I love the personal touch of the check being given to us on a laminated postcard with pictures of the owners’ family/history with handwritten information and a thank you- really beautiful!

Birthday lunch, good food, great drinks dessert. Only complaints were it was a bit chilly inside on a cold day, fruit flies.
Had a reservation here but was asked to sit at the bar even though there were plenty of tables open. Got seated right next to the bar station which is never ideal and very disruptive. We didn’t have a waiter, just the bartender, and she never checked in on us we were never asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert and had to ask for water twice. Food was good but would love more options that includes meats besides carne asada. Would potentially come back since this is in my neighborhood and it’s a cute vibe but very displeased with the service overall.
**Restaurant Review: Ma’Coco** Ma’Coco offers a mixed dining experience, characterized by inconsistent food quality and service. While some dishes, like fish tacos and churro donuts, were well-received, others fell short, with reports of dry chicken and uninspired cocktails. The atmosphere was chaotic, further hampered by noise levels from music and furniture. Though service began with attentiveness, a noticeable decline left some patrons feeling neglected. The restaurant's pricing raised concerns, with many diners questioning the overall value. However, those craving a taste reminiscent of Arizona may find the unique dishes appealing, potentially warranting a revisit during quieter hours.

The food was good, though it didn’t quite reach greatness. The cocktails were inventive but lacked a strong flavor. The service was friendly, but a bit on the slow side. The atmosphere felt extremely chaotic, with loud club music playing, chairs scraping noisily against the floor, and even though the place was empty, the staff seemed oddly preoccupied. Overall, it was a rather strange experience with satisfactory food.
Great atmosphere and reasonably priced food. However, the drinks are extremely overpriced.
I enjoyed my meal (fish tacos) but no one else I was with enjoyed theirs. The chicken was dry, the burrito was mostly tortilla and had French fries in it and the El Dude cocktail just tasted like pineapple juice. The salsa trio was just tiny little condiment bowls with barely enough salsa for a couple of chips. In general, while the tacos and the espresso cocktail were great, the place seemed really overpriced for what you get.
This cute little spot is a must. The vibe is great, the food is good, and service was on point.
I recently dined at Macoco during dinner time and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From poor service to subpar food quality, it was an evening that fell short of expectations. Firstly, the burnt fish tacos were a major disappointment. The overcooked and charred taste overshadowed any potential flavors, resulting in a dish that was far from enjoyable. They were also cold when they got to the table. Moreover, the lack of consideration for a customer's allergy is inexcusable. When inquiring about alternative options due to a seafood allergy, the waiter displayed a careless attitude. It's disheartening when restaurant staff fail to understand the seriousness of food allergies, putting the customer's health at risk. The insensitivity towards my father's genuine concern reflects a concerning lack of professionalism. Adding to the frustration was the waiter's overall demeanor. Throughout the meal, he displayed a consistent attitude problem, making it apparent. that they neither wanted to be there nor possessed any semblance of customer service skills. It created a negative atmosphere that overshadowed the dining experience.
