Went with my parents for Christmas eve lunch and had a good time. Restaurant hadn’t heated up and I was cold, but other than that, everything was great! I recommend the watermelon margarita!
Hidden Treasure in Austin! This place is undoubtedly one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The menu showcases genuine dishes, the service is prompt, and the prices are quite affordable. Their salsa is unbelievably enticing, bursting with distinctive flavors that set it apart from other spots. The atmosphere is laid-back and casual, and they also serve pitchers of Palomas and margaritas!
I ordered the Red Snapper entrée and the ceviche. The ceviche was delightful, but the Snapper was truly exceptional—definitely worth coming back for. However, I have to mention that we had to ask several times for the music to be turned down, as it was so loud we had trouble hearing each other, even when speaking normally, especially for a Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 PM. Additionally, the service left a lot to be desired; it wasn't due to a busy restaurant, as we often found ourselves having to track down our waiter to get our check and place our order. He also didn’t stop by to refill our water or check on us. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service really needs improvement.
