The service was a little rough due to one cashier, but the other cashier was nice. The food was so good that the first cashier's personality doesn't decrease the rating, though this was so, so good. I got a loaded chicken wrap and it was in the top 3 best foods I had in Austin. The house juices are okay, but that wrap is something I will forever yearn for from halfway across the country. What Vinay Chitneni doesn't like about Kismet Cafe:
Absolutely not delicious. Not the same experience I had a year ago having the same food at this place. Rice was stale not flavorful, and chicken meat was dry. Told the staff member about it and no response back. Asked for hot sauce first ignored and later brought in with extra charge for it. Hummos, falafel and pita was really good.Food: 1/5 View all feedback.
The spicy chicken shawarma wrap was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back!
The restaurant stays open late, which is a definite plus. The food was delicious and fresh. The older lady at the front was incredibly sweet and patient. However, the young woman with glasses was quite rude. Overall, it's not overpriced like many places in Austin.
Amazing food! Be sure to try the nut roll dessert—it's a must! I will definitely return!
Nothing is ever wrong with Kismet, but nothing I’ve had here has been exceptional. A good choice for a typical day and their chicken shawarma is a good option. Hummus is good but 1 pita is not enough for the . Do not try the baklava- tastes like room freshener.
Always great halal food and amazing consistency. I love their rice and salad bowl and get a mix of gyro and their eggplant with jalapeño and white sauce.
