Key Bar has emerged as a lively destination on West 6th Street, featuring a fun atmosphere, reasonable drink prices, and friendly staff. Many patrons enjoy the outdoor space, perfect for relaxing with a drink, while favorites like sliders and chips with salsa received positive nods. I only got the chance to enjoy the outdoor area of Key Bar for one round of drinks, but overall it was a pleasant experience. While I probably wouldn't make it a priority to return next time I'm in Austin, it was a nice place to stop for a drink.

My absolute favorite drink was the La Sancha (bottom), which tastes just like a spiked Starbucks Hibiscus drink! The chips and salsa were also amazing—so good that I'm pretty sure we tried to sneak some chips to go! The bartenders were incredibly friendly, and I loved the overall ambiance of the place.

This place is USC-friendly on a UT home game day—thank you for that! I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the Moscow mules could use some improvement. However, the drink prices are reasonable, and the outdoor bar has fans, which is a nice touch!

This place was a pleasant surprise. We were heading to a different bar and ended going here instead because it caught our eye. I am only giving them four stars because I did not try their cocktails and tried the local beers on tap. The bar tender was really awesome and gave us tips on where to eat as we were visiting from out of town.

Terrible service, unprofessional check-ins, and a rude attitude. It was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend visiting. You're better off elsewhere. Good luck!
