I really enjoyed the buffet, and the prices are quite reasonable. The chicken and vegetable biryanis are definitely worth trying. The mango mousse and carrot halwa were also excellent!

We had an baby shower event organised at India Gate restaurant. Food was very tasty and was kept hot until end of the event. We had around 30+ Guests, everyone enjoyed the food and appreciated. Price was very reasonable and staff was very supportive before and after the event. India gate staff, owner and food made our special event memorable!!!

Placed a catering order for my sons birthday and it was a near disaster. 1. Order was not handed over for pickup on time. Delayed by 45mins causing guests to stay hungry and wait for food to arrive. 2. On top of it, complimentary cutlery (serving spoons) and burners were not given even after specifying while placing the order. Caused so much confusion with food already arriving late and serving spoons not available at the venue. 3. Chicken lollipops were totally burnt and we had to take it off from the menu after guests complained. 4. Customer svc was really bad. Staff behaved rude with the guests who went to pickup food and held the food off for a balance payment (which usually is done after the event) as we the hosts are busy in the event. Do not recommend for catering orders if you?re looking to host a private event.

We hosted our kids birthday party at India Gate and it was a great experience. They let us come in much early to do the decorations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and took care of the food setup on time. All our guests loved the food, the veg hakka noodles and chicken 65 were a hit. We loved the paneer biryani and other curries as well. They were attentive to the guests and cleaned up on time. We had amazing time and would definitely recommend.

We placed our order for lunch on March 5, 2022, and the items we requested are as follows: - Onion Pakoda - Paneer Tikka Masala - Aloo Mutter - Tindora Fry with Peanuts - Veg Pulao - Gulab Jamun While the majority of the items were enjoyable, the Veg Manchurian was quite large, soggy, and dry when it should have been smaller and juicier. Additionally, the Butter Naan was completely burnt, resulting in us having to discard the entire large tray. I requested a refund for the large Butter Naan tray, but the manager informed me that refunding the money was complicated. Instead, he offered me some additional food. However, as I couldn't take that much food the following day, I opted for one chicken biriyani. I hope that Indiagateaustin can find a way to compensate the remaining money with food items on our next order. Thank you!
