IHOP - Austin
IHOP
Description
Visiting this particular IHOP location offers a range of experiences for customers. While the food is often praised for its deliciousness and variety—like the blueberry lemon ricotta crepe and timely coffee refills—service seems to be hit-or-miss. Many diners report long wait times, disorganized staff, and occasional rudeness from management, which detracts from the overall experience. However, some servers stand out for their friendliness and efficiency, helping to balance the chaos. For those seeking a relaxed atmosphere for breakfast or a casual meeting, this IHOP can still be a solid choice, provided one approaches with patience.

I never post reviews. I think this is my 3rd ever. But this one is worth it We ordered take out from iHop. It was said to be ready at 9:47 AM. We got there around 9:55 AM. The waitress who kept checking on us, never went to check on the food. We finally received our food at 10:38 AM. This is after I started to get a little more pushy. The waitress told me “I don’t even know what to say to you right now”. She got our VERY COLD food immediately and literally threw it all onto the counter and walked away. Do not eat at this location. What a horrible lady. She was the one with short brown hair working on Saturday 10/16.
We had a less than optimal experience at this restaurant. The two servers were overwhelmed with trying to accommodate new customers, serve all tables, and handle online deliveries, resulting in a long wait to be seated and place our orders. However, despite the slow service, the food was delicious and the servers were friendly. If you are in a hurry, it may be best to try another location.
Late breakfast mid week perfect! I had the pancake combo with blueberry lemon ricotta crepe yum! They did the bacon extra crispy like I requested and the coffee refills were timely. Two thumbs up!Parking: Plenty of parking available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility for parking and in the restaurant.
Had to start the day with some food so me and my girlfriend went to a near by IHOP. It was pretty busy and it took more that 10 mins until we ask a nearby waiter that we haven't been served yet to get some service. Because we had a long day planned ahead we decide to get something more filling instead of breakfast. I ordered a roasted turkey sandwich without mayo with fries on the side and my girlfriend ordered the turkey, bacon, and avocado wrap with some mozzarella cheese sticks. In all the food was great and delicious. But if its pretty busy, you can probably expect to be waiting to get service unless you have a good waiter that's tending to you.
