Family wanted Sushi and Ichiumi was a place I wanted. The reviews are good and the sushi looks good. There were some people on Saturday at 5:30. We ordered Takoyaki and Calamari appetizer, and we got the Ume Platte (3 special reels and 20 nigiri and it came with Tofu and edamame appetizers), and we also got the Hamburger Steak and Donkatsu over rice. Everything was so good, the tofu was amazing? crispy and soft insid... View all feedback.

came to Ichi Umi, as it was very close to the hotel where we were. It was super busy. Restaurant has a nice ambience and it was clean. Food was good, but the Karaage Chicken lacked taste. The waiter had forgotten to file this order. We remembered him and after we tried, we would definitely have skipped it. It was an average experience, so I give him a 3 star. View all feedback.

Loved the food. ? Service was good. Everything tasted great. Recommend y'all to come and give it a try. Plates average from $10-$20 pp, but I was HUNGRY. ? Hope to bring company next time so I can try and hopefully enjoy their Sake! ?
I travel for work and eat at tons of random sushi joints. This place has some of the tastiest flavor combos I've had as well as very high quality fish. The rest of the menu looked awesome as well. Will definitely be eating here every 6 weeks throughout my travels!
My family and I have been enjoying Haru Sushi (now called IchiUmi Sushi) for the past three years. I think we discovered them first when the pandemic hit and we wanted to eat fresh quality sushi from the safety of our home. Haru had amazing quality at reasonable prices and offered delicious fish and sides to compliment. As you can see, our family can eat haha and the portions here are very filling. For the bento boxes, they have cute little sides that satisfy your warm, crunchy, and pickle cravings. It's all very well balanced and you will be full, just not always from the sashimi alone. For the sashimi/sushi platters you will ALWAYS be full and satisfied by the sashimi/sushi alone but you will also have many other wonderful side dishes if you want a break from the fish and also works great as lunch for the next day. Some of our favorite sides are the brussel sprouts and the shrimp udon salad. Very delicious and sometimes I just want to order those things to eat even though it is a sushi restaurant. Despite them always changing their names (this is the third name change we have encountered) price has always been very fair for the amount of food you are getting and quality has always been good. I highly recommend this restaurant for celebrations or just a casual nice lunch. The food is very picnic friendly. The only downside is that with dining in, I think the service was just okay. If memory serves me correctly we had one really nice waitress one time and one rude waiter another time.
Best sushi we had in Austin so far! One thing we miss the most, moving from Vegas is awesome sushi. This place hits the mark! It 's officially our favorite sushi spot we tried so far. The only thing that needs improvement was the menu to select the different sushi needs to be updated with the current menu. (Not a big deal because the waiter asked us if there was anything we wanted that was not on this menu 5 stars for the sushi and 5 stars for the service. Thanks for the experience! We will be back soon.
