The food was good, I got a spinach tomato egg and cheese sandwich, and a pain au chocolat. the sandwich was hot. it was expensive, but that's typical for airport food. they do not accept cash.
Bar service by attendant John is horrible ?, racist ? and I wonder if this attitude is a reflection of the restaurant as a whole. Sold us drink, one round and in a rude demeaning manner said he will not sell to us and calls the police. We are shocked as to why but decide to wait for police and when they come, they say they received a call about a disturbance. Really???was it because we were black? Maybe this place is not for people of color, and we didn't know
Despite the Caprese Sandwich being quite good, this place has numerous issues that merit its terrible ratings. We stopped by pre-flight for a quick drink and to grab a sandwich for the flight. The employee was clearly not happy with his job. I asked him about a few wines on their list, and he replied that the menu is full of lies, which is an interesting way to say that it 's woefully out of date. On average, the vintages for most of the wines were off by 6 or 7 years, which to me is quite unacceptable. I purchased a $13 cup of Poema Cava, served pitifully in a small plastic cup, which is insulting to the wine and the guest, not to mention vastly overpriced. This place is in need of management overhaul big time.
