Was Joe M at Hideout Coffeehouse a mag?
This was the first local coffee shop I visited when I moved to Austin five years ago. They know my name, my favorite drinks and make me feel like part of the community. The coffee is good, the building is great and I love to catch the occasional improv show. View all feedback.
What Grace dislikes about Hideout Coffeehouse:
Typical boutique coffeehouse connected/adjacent to a comedy club/theater. Typical selection for a light breakfast: pastries and bagels. Very nice baristas, but careful they're way more of a hipster than you. View all feedback.
A charming coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Austin. We stopped by for some dessert and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was delightful, and both the cupcake and cheesecake were fantastic. However, what really made our visit memorable was the exceptional service from the young man at the counter. He was not only friendly but also went above and beyond for other customers. He even shared useful information about nearby attractions.
This is a relaxed spot with fantastic coffee! There are plenty of seats to unwind with a cup of coffee and some pastries. The prices are reasonable, and they offer a delightful selection of specialty coffees. It might be easy to overlook while passing by, but it’s definitely worth seeking out!
I love Hideout and often come to study. They do good coffee but the best part of this place is their grilled sandwiches which are only $6. You can make them yourselves by choosing which ingredients you would like and the service is always quick and friendly. It is a lovely place to study, often pretty quiet and relaxed with lots of nice conversation happening in the background. I often come back for my grilled sandwich fix.
I was looking for a place to grab something cold on a hot Austin night and came upon this place. It has improv night and serves not only coffees/teas, but some food and liquor. When I come back to Austin definitely want to go there on an improv night to see some entertainment. The Vietnamese coffee that I got was very tasty and definitely hit the spot.
