The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, the st... read more We were looking for a place to take dinner on the way to an event and this place caught our eye. I'm glad it is! The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, the staff was friendly, the whole food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Two in our party had the Haymaker Burger, it looked fantastic. I wish I had taken a picture, but I didn't think so. Another got the patty melt with the veggie patty. She was super impressed by the Patty and the meal as a whole. I have the burger with blue cheese and bacon. I ordered without a bun and with a side salad, I was impressed by the Burgerpatty as it was large, perfectly boiled, and super tasteful. The bacon was perhaps the best bacon I've ever had... I could have eaten a plate of this bacon. You have a wide selection of beers with many locals. We will definitely come back.

Inside there is a dark(ish) and delicious pub scene with excellent beer selection (Loads on Tap). Front is the open terrace shaded and spacious. The food is well above average for bar food. I calculate this place five because it is really a great all-round casual place for food and drink. Many screens for sports. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Jen and I share the poutine and the classic club sandwich. Both were very delicious. We'll be back.
