The hostess who seated me was friendly and helpful, but after being seated, I waited 10 minutes before anyone took my drink order. Then, it took another 10 minutes before a server came by to check if I had been helped. Once I placed my order, the food arrived fairly quickly, but was delivered by a different server who didn’t say a word or make eye contact. About halfway through my meal, a third server brought my check. This fragmented service felt minimal at best, especially since it was handled by multiple different staff members with no clear point of contact if I needed assistance. With five years of experience in the food service industry, I don’t believe the restaurant was understaffed; I saw two servers when I arrived and six when I left, and it was only an hour after opening, so it wasn’t a shift change issue. The hostess clearly went above and beyond to help, which I appreciated, but based on other reviews, it seems like inconsistent service might be typical here. On a positive note, the food was excellent. I recommend First Watch for anyone seeking tasty and healthy brunch options, but I remain cautious about this location and will try a different one next time.
