The food is absolutely phenomenal! While the menu is limited, they don't need to have an extensive menu because what you get is already the best. Would highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken. We have been there a few times with our dog (it is attached to the Yard Bar) and she loves the chicken meatballs and frozen yogurt peanut butter treats. The service is always fast and friendly, and they have a great sense of humor... View all feedback.
What Karen Quach doesn't like about Fat City:
Fat City is a good addition to Yard Bar, where people can enjoy food in an outdoor space that is adjacent to the Yard Bar dog park. In this space, dogs are on-leash since it is not a fenced in area- it's simply an outdoor space for people to dine at Fat City. You can bring your dog for a bite here then head into the dog park (but food is not allowed in the dog park). They have basic burger stand foods- beef/chicken b... View all feedback.
Overrated.. taste like Food a dog would eat or Should eat . Or food for elementary kids .. not sure who they're aiming for Kids or Dogs ? Meat is dry asf!

Incredible burger. I got two single stacks, krinkle cut fries, and a ginger beer. Best burger I've had so far in the city if you like a thin smash burger. Crispy, flavorful beef with a really tasty smash sauce and soft sweet buns. Caramelized onions were great too. My only complaint was I wanted extra pickles since they shave them thinly. The fries were classic krinkle fries, nothing to write home about.
Great Tots and fries and unique sliders. We got the party pack. It says it feeds 4 but we still had 4 left over! You get 12 cheeseburger sliders and 2 tots fries. Great deal for fresh food. The sliders were unique. The meat is smashed so thin, that it's crispy and lacy (see through). They put on very thin pickled and grilled onions. They will let you customize if you'd like to. The outside seating was great, as was the service!
Wendy's or McDonald's can do it better and alot cheaper. So this is a definitely knock off of in n out and white castle and terrible. The photos of people food looked amazing but quality and taste not worth it, the burger had like a sweet bun but the meat alone flavor less and sauce can't help this and the stack fries had fries and tatter tots with cheese and thousands islands and grilled onions. First off you can use velvet cheese or nachos cheese sauce that doesn't cost much for cheese fries but this place used kraft slice cheese that was still cold and Luke warm fries. Let my friend eat this for me and their tatter tots alone no salt and watery potatoes when eating, the hand dip tenders is a joke. No season and that breading wasn't crunchy and fall apart as well the chicken was chew also rubbery. We went last Sunday 1pm not many people. You would think fresh and hot food especially how much they charge. Austin only restaurant that must be allergic to any type of seasoning. Better off eating from fast food chains that believe in seasoning.
