Was Ashley Williams at Egg Bomb a mag?
Pretty decent poke spot but kind of drab inside so better to pickup. Get a good amount for the price but the avo is in a paste form instead of chopped which I didn't like. They have crispy garlic but no crispy onions (or vice versa, idr exactly), don't offer sesame oil, and I honestly don't remember them having cucumber but that can't be right...I hope. Otherwise, pretty good but they can up the variety in toppings View all feedback.
What Rebekah C dislikes about Egg Bomb:
This place used to be good until they started raising their prices and skimping out on toppings. I mean now you're only allowed four toppings total...seriously? You used to be able to get all the toppings you wanted. View all feedback.
Very friendly staff, service was a bit slow, but worth it for what we got:I got the bulgogi egg bomb, which was delicious. My partner got the salmon and avocado burger and said it was good, but was surprised by how drenched the burger was in the sauce. Mine also had excessive sauce but I considered it a good thing. We also tried the egg tots which were French fries with a fried egg on top w ketchup and mayo. Not my thing (I don 't like ketchup, and didn 't realize it came on the egg tots until after we recieved our food , but my partner said it was also very good. They ran out of tea and had to make fresh tea for us, but the cashier offered me a glass of green tea while I waited for the (presumably black? Tea to be made. All in all this place makes great food and wasn 't too busy for a Saturday. Just be aware you may have to wait for your food: this is not a fast food place, but a good food place.
The lady staff is friendly and the place is quite nicely decorated. It is just newly open and the egg bomb was huge and sufficient for 2 persons. The only thing I like to feedback is the hot drink is not really hot.. the rests are good.
A new Korean egg toast sandwich restaurant opened earlier this month in the Korean shopping center. They're famous for their "egg bomb," which is an egg sandwich served on their special buns. The portions are quite generous for the price. I tried the bulgogi and the avocado/salmon egg bombs, both with spicy mayo, and I was impressed. The eggs were wonderfully fluffy, and the buns had a texture similar to potato buns. The toppings really enhanced the sandwiches, and they certainly don't hold back on the ingredients!
UPDATE: I came here again after months and man, Ola Poke never disappoints! Got the same thing because it's delicious and all I could think about was how palatable this is. If I could marry a food I would, just finished my meal and I'm already thinking about when I'm going to come back ?? THANK YOU OLA POKE The food here is so good it makes me combust, this lil shop easily has the best poke in Austin (fight me if you disagree??? It's a lil pricey tho, so if your broke you better save up #OlaPoke4Life
