The kolaches and donuts here are incredible, and the prices are so affordable! If you're in this area, it's definitely worth a visit. I can't believe I've overlooked this place until now. I’m looking forward to my next visit!
The donuts here are excellent—better than Dunkin' Donuts and more affordable too. The Asian lady at the cash register is wonderful; she's not only beautiful but also speaks multiple languages and works quickly.
This is a great place for kolaches and donuts! The family duo running the shop is wonderful and friendly. They offer a wide variety of items, including croissant sandwiches with ham, egg, and cheese, as well as sausage in a bun and many donut flavors. For drinks, they have a full selection of sodas (no fountain drinks) and the coffee is always fresh. The dough is the star here, with a fantastic texture. My personal favorite is the jalapeño sausage kolache. I enjoyed my meal so much that I couldn't help but devour it, and trust me, when I finish my food that quickly, you know it's delicious! Delighted to find this great donut shop. Much higher quality and way better prices than Shipleys. Donuts, Kolaches, biscuit breakfast sandwiches, croissant sandwiches this place has it all.Would suggest trying the sausage egg and cheese biscuit and the old fashioned blueberry donut.
Best donuts in Austin, TX. I think about them often, even while no longer living in Texas.
