Devil May Care
Description
**Devil May Care: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Devil May Care offers a unique ambiance characterized by trendy decor and a blend of lounge and club vibes, appealing to those seeking a hip night out. However, the experience varies greatly, with patrons noting limited menu choices, high prices, and a strict reservation policy. While some rave about the outstanding food, such as creative small plates and flavorful non-alcoholic cocktails, others express disappointment in service quality, portion sizes, and loud music that detracts from conversation. It's an intriguing spot for cocktails and light bites, but might not satisfy those in search of a traditional dining experience.

The bar charges a cover fee on certain nights. We visited on a Saturday when there was a DJ playing. It felt like an overpriced, overly loud cocktail bar. The decor is impressive, but without a reservation, finding a seat is tough and you might end up standing at the bar.
Great drinks and tasty snack options. The music was excellent! The service was super friendly.
I was quite disappointed with the service during my visit. The waitstaff felt robotic and lacked warmth. Our waitress forgot our drinks, and the timing of our food was off as well. When another server brought some drinks, she seemed a bit dazed, which was quite odd. Now, let's talk about the food. We started with the East Coast oysters, served with acqua pazza, chili oil, and chives. Unfortunately, they had an overwhelming vinegar flavor that was not enjoyable. On a brighter note, we tried the whipped ricotta and goat cheese. The pita that came with it was fantastic, and everyone really enjoyed this dish! We also ordered patatas bravas, which were decent but could have been crispier. For our main courses, we shared a lamb shank and a pork chop. Both meats were excellent—tender and well-seasoned. However, the presentation made the portions seem larger than they really were, as a lot of the plate was taken up by sides. Since these dishes are meant for sharing, it would have been nice to see a bit more creativity with the sides instead of all being the same.
The ambiance of the venue feels more like a lounge than a typical restaurant. We ordered the tomahawk ribeye, which was not only delicious but also a real spectacle! Just a heads up: the place turns into a nightclub around 8 PM. They lower the lights and crank up the music, so if you want to have a conversation, it's better to arrive early.
