Family friendly, delicious food, great and quick service...appetizer crawfish and fried tomato were gobbled up in a hurry, so good. 5 adults and 3 kids each ordered a different dish, all tasty: for example, seafood combo platter, halibut fish of the day, pasta Evangeline (get the cream sauce), very enjoyable and several steps up from most restaurants in quality, taste and imagination. Bread pudding was amazing. Would recommend for sure.
This was our first time here. The food was absolutely amazing. The shrimp and grits were some of the best we have ever had, and the gumbo and boudin balls were delicious as well.
This is my absolute favorite place for Louisiana cuisine in town. It surpasses Evangeline's, Mouton's, and others. Seriously, from the bar to the kitchen, they consistently deliver excellent food and service. The only complaint I have is about the mufalletas; it seems nobody makes them right unless you’re in the French Quarter. Despite that, the experience hasn't changed, and this remains my top choice.
As a first-time visitor, I really enjoyed the food. The shrimp was fresh, well-marinated, and delicious. I loved the mashed potatoes too. The service was excellent; the manager seated me and went over the daily and monthly specials. The owner even came to my table to explain the ingredients in the dishes, which was a nice touch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The server who attended to me was doing her best—good luck to her!
Best Cajun food I have had in a minute. The location is quite unassuming and might cause you to doubt the validity of my claim. However, this restaurant is truly a 5star experience. From the moment we walked into the door until we left feeling satiated andhappy. Try the chocolate pecan pie. And anything stuffed with crawfish in their white sauce. The étouffée was yummy too.
