As a first-time visitor, I really enjoyed the food. The shrimp was fresh, well-marinated, and delicious. I loved the mashed potatoes too. The service was excellent; the manager seated me and went over the daily and monthly specials. The owner even came to my table to explain the ingredients in the dishes, which was a nice touch. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The server who attended to me was doing her best—good luck to her!
Best Cajun food I have had in a minute. The location is quite unassuming and might cause you to doubt the validity of my claim. However, this restaurant is truly a 5star experience. From the moment we walked into the door until we left feeling satiated andhappy. Try the chocolate pecan pie. And anything stuffed with crawfish in their white sauce. The étouffée was yummy too. Cypress Grill satisfied my Cajun cravings perfectly. The food was fantastic! Although the boudin balls were a bit overcooked, the main course was so delicious that I'm still giving it 5 stars. I highly recommend the Chicken Atchafalaya, which is a lunch special featuring Crawfish Etouffée served with fried chicken. So tasty! A big shoutout to Josh for being an excellent server! I definitely plan to return for dessert!
The photo was after we were full. The food was delicious. Jambalaya, étouffée, catfish, fried okra all were amazing. Cole slaw not so much, it had bell peppers in it and that's all I could taste. The boudin balls tasted great, but I think the batteron them was too thick and or crispy. This place has a nice atmosphere with some jazzy, ragtime, zydeco music playing in thebackground. We had wine this time but it looks like they have a decent extensive cocktail menu. The service was very good, everyone was polite from the person that sat us, our server, the food runner and the bartender.
