Was Mathew Gutkowski at Clark's a mag?
First time at Clark's. Was really happy to spend lunch on the porch with beautiful Austin weather. The vibe was relaxed and very cool. Service was great. Obviously they have a great team mentality. Prices were reflective of the value you get. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but the Tuna Sandwich was dry and tasteless. The slaw was tasteless, is their slaw just shredded cabbage? Best oysters anywhere. All of the food is delicious. The cocktails are excellent , and their pre dinner bread service is so good. A little jewel box of a restaurant makes for a special evening View all feedback.

This is one of the highest quality restaurant experiences in austin. the menu meets every time, the location has underestimated elegance, and the personal is fantastic. can not recommend enough.

Incredible, friendly, comprehensible and fast. eating was super tasty and incredible quality products. we arrived hungry and got our 3 courses in less than 40 minutes. my only wish is that we have a little longer. but then we burned the food down. the place has a beautiful ambiente and the decor is very cool. highly recommended!

This place is hit or miss. The first time I came here I ordered The Branzino. I had a early 11:30am reservation. The food came out hot and the fish was fresh and delicious. I couldn 't wait to come back and try it again. I had 1:30pm reservation. It was the same waitress. This time she seemed totally different, wasn 't friendly or helpful, didn 't even smile. My daughters clam chowder was so gritty she couldn 't finish it. By the time she got her BLT she had lost her appetite and couldn 't eat but a little of her sandwich that wasn 't very good either. This time my fish came out cold and soggy, and didn 't taste fresh. I was so disappointed and was hoping this could be my go to restaurant, as I live close in the neighborhood. I will be canceling all my future reservations. Good consistent food is the key if you want to keep your customers. $100+ bucks down the drain.
