The hostess seemed puzzled when I mentioned my reservation made through Open Table, claiming they had "stopped paying for it." However, she was incredibly accommodating, and the service we received was among the best I've experienced in quite a while. Our server was gracious and funny, remembered everything we needed, and kept us entertained despite the restaurant being packed. I highly, highly recommend this place!

I definitely plan to return.

A surprisingly good sake selection including... read more The Cho in Lakeway has great sushi and hot Japanese cuisine. Some creative rolls and sashimi dishes, great basics . A surprisingly good sake selection including some higher end stuff for those who like that. Fish is very fresh. Not cheap, but hey, it 's sushi. Service friendly and attentive (wait staff tend to be gringos but have good familiarity with menu including the Japanese names). And a whole lot less cost than Uchiko. Another nice aspect is their consistency. You know what you are going to get.
