Quality is consistently praised, but service is unpredictable: expect long waits (sometimes hours), outdoor seating with mosquitoes, and limited predictability. We had the ceviche only. It was on restaurant level and very authentic. Owner/chef was very helpful, knowledgeable and laid back. Definitely worth the wait, as the preparation as fresh as it gets.
Some of the best food I’ve had in Austin. Really felt like the chef made it with love. Lomo saltado tasted like my mom’s cooking. Every bite was on point
In my opinion, this is the best food in Austin. I have never been disappointed and every time I eat any of the dishes here I am astounded by the flavor and quality of the ingredients. Davis is a true master and am thankful he's just down the street. My favorite dish is the lomo saltado although the arroz chaufa and ceviche are also excellent.
It's really good a friend from Peru took me.over there and I try this original and traditional plates, the owner it's a really nice.guy. I liked the ceviche and the lomo salltado : with the yellow soda, I don't know the name but it was ???? good
We drove 1 hour get food from here. We were told there's a 30 40 min wait. But it took over 2 hours to get our food. We ordered our food at 7.45pm but received it around 10pm. The food was good overall. But it's definitely not worth waiting 2+hours for.
