I absolutely love this place. Their burgers are fantastic because I can customize my own with their seasonal ingredients, which are always fresh. The highlight is that their buns are baked fresh daily, making a huge difference in flavor. The fries are perfectly broken, crispy, and cooked just right. A personal favorite of mine is that Burger Tex serves Diet Pepsi instead of the typical Diet Coke, which I’m not a fan of. We often drive from South Austin to enjoy this gem (hint, hint—anyone interested in starting a franchise in South Austin?!).

Thankfully, the delicious meals really lift the spirits. I can't help but salivate just thinking about it!

I didn't have to wait long for my burger, the prices were reasonable, and I appreciated the salad bar, which allowed me to add my favorite veggies to my burger. The highlight, though, was definitely the fries! They were crunchy and absolutely delicious. The combination of those fries with the juicy burger makes this place deserving of a five-star rating.

My buddy gets the veggie burger and I do beef. Their buns are super fresh and soft, but toasted just right. Their fries are fantastic! A super crispy coating reminds me of tempura batter. Don't go for the ambiance, but go for the best burgers in town!
