I thi... read more Never been, just want to and can't wait. I found this place because it was featured on the cover of George Strait's latest album, Honky Tonk Time Machine. I think it's cool. But why did he choose this place as the album cover? Was it a tribute to the founder? Does it hold a special place in his heart? Was he good friends with the Founder?

Brisket plate was undercooked. Waitress was OK, dance lessons was the instructor talking 90% of the time and never got to the western swing. OK dance floor, could've used some sawdust. Sweated in the restaurant, dance floor was cooler. Liked the music from the derailers. Bar staff was good.
