Whole Foods BBQ is consistently outstanding. Perhaps not as good as Franklin's, La BBQ, Styles Switch, Coopers, etc.; however, the consistency is amazing. It doesn't seem right that Whole Foods should have some of the best BBQ in town, but it does. It's kind of like BMW pumping exhaust tones through their speakers you don't want to like it but you do. Brisket, beef and pork ribs, pulled pork, sausage...all of it is good. The best part is the people though they are some of the friendliest folks in town. They all have an inspiring passion for their job. If you're complaining about the prices, you're probably out of touch with reality. Anything in west Texas is going to be significantly less expensive than Austin.
Delicious BBQ Better tasting than the more famous Austin joints. Since it's Whole Foods, the meat is ultra high quality no hormones or antibiotics, etc, and you can get a beer with the food.
The restaurant is awesome and broad, the meals was delicious and the rates were very affordable. quick, efficient service and very friendly staff members. I highly recommend this place.
Situated at the rear of the expansive Whole Foods Market, I tried the brisket and spicy kielbasa. Both dishes felt somewhat overpriced, and the quality was merely average. The brisket was a tad dry, so we appreciated having barbecue sauce on the side. Given that it's just a kiosk within Whole Foods, my expectations weren't particularly high.
