I had the pleasure to eat in atx cocina a few times; they were all amazing experiences. the food and drinks are divine and the service is always excellent. Last night we had a hard stop at 18:30 a.m., and the waiting staff made sure we were on time to make our event. the personal has always the best cocktail recommendations. we were cheated to hear that the Coco-Loco is no longer on the menu. it is my absolute favori... What Nadia Buckridge doesn't like about Atx Cocina:
Some dishes were excellent, the others were meh! Also, while our server was good, no one gloomy the table.. we had to put the empty plates on the table next to us to make room for the coming dishes? It was bizarre! Coco Loco: good and creamy, very coconut Pequeno Lorenzo: it was good, but it tasted like a Margarita Mia a-mora: did not have a strong taste, but the sage salt was amazing GYT: I am not a gin and tonic pe... Super full on Tuesday night. Food, drinks and service were good. We enjoyed some of the suggestions from our server and some of our own. Campechana and Machete were both excellent.

It was bizarre! Coco Loco: good and creamy, very coconut Pequeno Lorenzo: it was good, but it tasted like a Margarita Mia a-mora: did not have a strong taste, but the sage salt was amazing GYT: I am not a gin and tonic person, it was ok, but not a favorite Oysters: were amazing, perfect salty! Aguachile: it was OK, not super tasteful Puplo y chorizo: it was OK, the octopus was dry Baja bass: it was amazing the star of the meal
Great place for dinner. The cocktails are good (and strong) and the food is absolutely delicious. For a group of 8 we shared shrimps and octopus ceviche, machete (tacos of the day), Baja Bass, an off-menu vegetarian entrée, Elote, and queso fundido. Every dish was unbelievable in its own way. The Horchata ice cream was also a good way to finish the meal. Service is also very friendly.
Fabulous place for a top notch dinner. Start of with the fresh made guacamole, it won't disappoint. The fish tacos were phenomenal. High light was the Roasted Beef Shortrib for 2 sitting in a bed of pickled carrots. Wonderful seasoned meat made wonderfully flavored tacos. Can't wait to return and try more!
Great first experience here! Had a party of 3 women and the family-style guacamole, appetizer chicken wings, Short rib and salmon was more than enough to fill us up! We sat on the patio, which we thought would have a view but the tent hid the view of the lake unfortunately. But our waiter was attentive and service was efficient. Looking forward to coming back some day!
