Artipasta - Austin
Artipasta
Description
Hidden in Austin's lively food‑truck scene, this Italian stall serves arguably the city's best pasta — fresh, al dente tagliatelle and richly seasoned ragù, standout ravioli and lasagna, plus rotating desserts like tiramisu and panna cotta. Expect chef-driven, flavorful sauces (mushroom–truffle a favorite), consistently high quality, friendly service, and to‑go/delivery options. Prices are a touch higher than typical trucks and delivery apps may not show the full menu, so calling ahead helps avoid waits. A must for pasta devotees seeking authentic, restaurant-caliber dishes in a casual, bustling setting.

We ordered the truffle mushroom penne and the pesto gnocchi. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauces were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but the dishes were a bit greasier than expected, leaving quite a bit of oil in our bowls. The owners were very kind and provided excellent recommendations for pasta and sauce pairings.
I had the best pasta I've ever tasted! I drove all the way from North Austin to try their dishes, and I felt so fortunate that they reopened after the storm. I loved all three types of pasta I ordered today, and the tiramisu (which isn’t in the photo) was absolutely divine! I actually came here based on a recommendation I found on Reddit for the tiramisu. I’ll definitely be back to try more. The staff is incredibly friendly, and since they make everything fresh, it's a good idea to call ahead to avoid a long wait!
We are really lucky to have such amazing pasta in South Austin. I'm hooked on their Maccheroni with Creamy Sausage and Mushrooms, and the Lasagna is fantastic too. The food is always consistent, flavorful, and simply delicious. I truly wonder why there aren't more reviews, given how busy it always is when I visit. If you're craving great pasta, you should definitely give this place a try!
My goodness the Penne Mushroom and Truffle pasta was sooo soo good! I had eaten out right before coming here and only wanted a small taste. That soon turned to me almost finishing the entire thing even though I was already full from eating earlier. Amazing!
