Description

An eclectic marketplace of independent boutiques and diverse eateries offers unique gifts, casual meals, and a relaxed, chill vibe that appeals to shoppers and foodies.

However, service is inconsistent: staff friendliness and responsiveness vary, some vendors are closed at times, returns are strictly limited, and serious concerns about biased treatment were reported—shopper discretion is advised.

We heard this place was amazing and so we decided to check it out. There were shops and things but no one was friendly. We walked into a couple shops and no one even looked up. There was an amazing Rolling Smoke BBQ spot in the place that was sooo good. Friendly and helped service and suggestions. We loved their food. We also stopped at Maria 's Empanadas , which wasn 't bad either. Attitudes could have been more pleasant...when asked about the best ones to try. We got two sandwiches from a spot called Elita which was really good. We stopped into Poppy Pine but no one looked up, so we moved on. We got a couple beers at the Cheluna Brewing Co. which was pretty good.

I love this Marketplace due to the fact that it's filled with small boutiques shops and restaurants including the famous DBC Denver Biscuit Company). Very chill and nice vibe here I enjoyed it very much and most likely will be returning to look more at the stores before I leave Denver. :

I experienced racial profiling from a sales associate during my visit to the store. I entered with a few friends, browsed around, tried out a perfume tester, and was on my way out when the associate stopped me. She accused me of taking an item and putting it in my pocket, asking if I was going to pay for it. I was taken aback, as I hadn't even touched most of the items in the store. I told her that I hadn’t taken anything. She became flustered and asked again, so I reiterated that she was mistaken. Despite my repeated denials, she insisted I empty my pockets, which confirmed my previous statements—there was nothing from the store. Her apology was minimal, and she quickly walked away. I hope others consider the treatment I've received, the apparent lack of training, and the dismissive acknowledgment of my experience before deciding to support this store.

If you plan to buy a gift for someone, make sure to remind them that returns must be made within two weeks, or else you might find yourself in a frustrating situation. I purchased Christmas gifts for my wife, and when she tried to return or exchange them three weeks later, the staff showed little interest in helping her. Despite the fact that none of the items had been worn and many were still available in the store, the staff's only suggestion was to sell them on Facebook. I reached out multiple times through email, seeking an explanation or looking to speak with a manager, but received no response. We certainly won't be returning to this store and wouldn't recommend it to others. A little empathy from the staff could have gone a long way in diffusing the situation and possibly preventing this review. I just want to give a heads up to anyone considering shopping here: pay close attention to the return policy, or you may end up out of luck.
