However, when the bill came, I found out that the dessert wasn’t complimentary after all, and I ended up paying an extra $12 for something I wouldn’t have ordered in the first place. At that point, I was so disgusted with the experience that I didn’t even want to go through the trouble of finding the manager to address the bill. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant again, though I will say we had a great server.

I used a coupon, but I would definitely consider getting takeout from here again even without one if I'm in the area. I know it’s a chain, and the quality of franchise restaurants can vary significantly. Honestly, I don’t recall Applebee’s being this good before.

It appeared there was only one waitress, and even though she was great, there was a bit of a wait to place our order. Otherwise it was another great experience
