The birria is incredible, and the handmade tortillas that accompany the meal are fantastic!
Everything is made in their kitchen on site. It?s a family restaurant and everything is made with great care, pride and love love of people, love of food and love of Mexico. The tortillas are freshly pressed and as good as any I?ve ever had. Thebirria is outstanding; it has lots of rich flavors with succulent meat. The same is true for the barbacoa. During Lent theyserve tacos de pescado (fish tacos) and tostadas de ceviche. Both meals are so good I skip breakfast before I go there on LentenFridays. Wonderful food and wonderful people.
Goat Birria or Birria de Chivo Is one of my favorite dishes, that is increasingly difficult to find. Goat is harder to find and prices have gone up. This restaurant is inside a church, and has limited hours, so a bit of a challenge to actually get to. They seem to only be open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday but have an authentic menu of menudo, Birria, and many other dishes.
