Food... read more Great location and really friendly small French hotel. Great value and if you stay a Friday night they have local bands play and it is quite a revelation. Food was really good and staff look after you so well. Stayed there before ten years ago and it has aged well.

My wife had a lovely plate of ravioli... read more Excellent meal at this local restaurant. I had a delicious wild boar daube. Came in a little stew pot with pasta separate. My wife had a lovely plate of ravioli. Tasty local rose by the pichet, and really good apple pie. Overall an excellent supper and all for 50€. Service was friendly and excellent. Recommended.

Eventually a w... read more Just arrived at restaurant and we were totally ignored for 20 minutes no service,not even given a menu and not asked what we 'd like for a drink. Eventually a waitress came and was NOT welcoming and was positivity RUDE. I have visited France on many occasions and find the French to ' 'run hot or cold ' and boy can they be aloof and very rude. No need for this treatment at all so we walked out! Spoilt an otherwise beautiful day visiting the area. A real shame but they didn 't deserve our business.

It was quiet when we arrived, but the restaurant filled up quite quickly, both inside and on the terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed our foie gras, faux-fillet aux girolles and tartare de boeuf. Good parking facilities on the public parking of Aups town.

We chose a dish from the Chef 's recommendations and I can highly recommend it! The wild boar stew with mushrooms was delicious! Merci beaucoup!
