Was Anonym at Lanikai Cafe a mag?
We visited this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed a wonderful dining experience in the back garden, seated under a large shady tree. The staff was friendly, polite, and made sure we had plenty to drink. The menu offered a variety of delicious options, and the food was fresh and tasty. What Anonym dislikes about Lanikai Cafe:
We opted to give the wood-fired pizzas a try tonight, but were unfortunately let down. They lacked the traditional taste and appearance expected of wood-fired pizzas, and the dessert was a major disappointment. Charging $8 for it is simply unacceptable. View all feedback.

My husband and I came here for breakfast in a quiet setting with only two other people on a Sunday morning. The service was friendly and polite, no complaints there. However, the meal was disappointing. My plate had overcooked chorizo, cold baked beans, unseasoned tomatoes and mushrooms, and cold, undercooked bacon. It was not a pleasant way to start a sunny Sunday. I may consider returning to try out the dinner menu, but I will not be back for breakfast.

These days Old Coach Road in Aldinga is bustling with vibrant cafes featuring creative menus and commendable coffees. As I socialise regularly in this part of Aldinga, I was keen to try the Lanikai Cafe which used to be the Old Vine. It was a quiet day when my friend and I visited but we hoped for the sake of the new owners that things would pick up. There was nothing on the menu that grabbed us (maybe a burger and chips another time) so we settled for coffee. Sadly, both coffees were weak and lukewarm - very disappointing - so we didn't drink them. Perhaps things have improved by now - I'll pay this cafe with its gorgeous atmosphere another visit some time.

Popped in here for brunch - first time ive visited since change in owners/revamp. I seriously have just eaten the best breakfast ive ever tasted! 2 of us got the Stack - ciabatta, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns , perfectly poached eggs topped with hollandaise sauce and avocado. The picky kid just had a massive bowl of chips. Great customer service, and the atmosphere is lovely. Will absolutely be back
