I've been going to Teresa for a long time. The service is amazing and the owners and operators must not be very greedy. The reason for this is that prices are low and the beverage sizes are very large with refills and check-ups in every five minutes. I've been a regular at Teresa's for many years, and I can't speak highly enough of it. The service is outstanding, and the owners genuinely seem to prioritize their customers over maximizing profits; their prices are very reasonable, and the drink portions are generous, with attentive staff checking in every five minutes. Chips, salsa, and beverages are served almost immediately, and the food arrives quickly, hot, and delicious. The ambiance is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They don't push you to order more expensive items and are always available to assist in any way they can. Although Teresa's is often bustling with customers, I've never had to wait for a seat. It has consistently been my family's go-to spot for affordable, casual, and comfortable dining experiences.
Absolutely terrible! I requested no tomatoes in my dish, but it arrived with them anyway, so I sent it back. To my disappointment, they simply removed the tomatoes without properly addressing the issue, and it was still messy.
I encountered the most unfriendly waitress I've ever met, which led to me giving the lowest tip I've ever given. The food was decent, but the loud music coming from the deck was quite annoying.
I have mixed feelings about the decor. The outdoor deck is fantastic, especially with the water misters helping to cool things down. However, I’m not a fan of the interior; it feels a bit cheesy in its decor. At least you don't feel cramped inside, unlike some other places. The quality of the food is on par with any Mexican restaurant I've been to, and the prices for the food are slightly lower. However, if you're planning to enjoy a drink with your meal, be prepared for some steep prices on beer and margaritas. They charge $6 for a pitcher of beer!
The restaurant boasts beautiful patrons, excellent service, and a relaxing ambiance. My only complaint is the traffic on Washington Road, which makes me nostalgic for the North Augusta location. It was conveniently located just around the corner, especially when I craved chicken soup to comfort an ailing spirit or unwind after a long day at work. Ultimately, it's the people who foster such a positive atmosphere that make the drive worth it whenever we get the chance to visit.
