Canton Express - Augusta
Canton Express
Description
Canton Express is making a name for itself as a favorite destination for Chinese cuisine, particularly in the Augusta area. Diners rave about the flavorful spare ribs, chicken fingers, and teriyaki dishes. Many appreciate the freshness and reasonable prices, especially amidst rising inflation. However, opinions diverge concerning consistency; while some meals exceed expectations, others can be soggy or overcooked. Delivery experiences also vary, with reports of both prompt service and less-than-friendly drivers. Overall, Canton Express offers a promising menu that appeals to many, though patrons may find hit-or-miss results in their culinary adventures.

I got a pu pu for 2. The ribs were juicy and not too much fat on them, the teriyaki beef was tender and flavorful, the chicken teriyaki was on the dry side, wings were decent, the egg roll was very greasy and the chicken fingers have too much batter whichalso made them very greasy. The crab rangoons were all cream cheese w not even any fake crab specks and zero flavor.
Ordered online for delivery. The app works great as long as you do not leave the page. Also it was convenient enough to call the store to provide a payment method, and to confirm my delivery location. Staff was super friendly also! Food was delicious, veryhot still. I only like within 5 miles of the restaurant. This was my second time ordering from Canton Express and must say Iwill order again!
Been going here for years. The food is very inconsistent, some days it's very good and others the food is burnt and dry. Fried rice is usually very good but the last time the portion was much smaller, soggy and there wasn't much pork in it.
Best Chinese food in Augusta. Always fast, fresh and delicious. The teriyaki steak is the bomb and the house rice noodles are delish!
I recently moved to the Augusta area and have been looking for decent Chinese food takeout. So far, Canton Express has been my favorite pick. Quick service and food is pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the boneless ribs and Asian wings. The pork friedrice could use a little improvement but not bad. Chicken fingers, however, were overcooked and very hard both times I orderedthem. Overall, pretty good and I will be back to try other menu items.
