We have now made it to Omar 's Afghan Kitchen, next to the theater. As a starter we shared borani kadu braised pumpkin wedges with quark tschakka and naan bread. Yes, I realized again that I 'm not a fan of coriander . The bread tasted like old flatbread from a Turkish bakery. For the main course we put together what we wanted, namely rice with saffron rice, almonds, pistachios and orange peel Nerendj Palau with 3 meatballs korma kofta and once with eggplant goulash borani banajan . I liked my main course quite well, but my companion didn 't like the meatballs very much because of the spices. She also thought the minced meat was grilled/fried and not cooked in sauce and was therefore disappointed. By the way, the rice is served separately from the sauces. For the vegetarians : there are also sauces with either pumpkin, eggplant, potatoes, okra or spinach. There are also grilled specialties
