When you get there, the one super friendly guy who runs it offers you a seat and you get a three course meal, consisting of a soup, main dish, and small dessert. You never really know what the main dish of the day is, but there are always tons of flavours in the mix! If find it delicious. Further, the price is probably the best in town considering how much food you get. I also find the portions really well sized to get full. Lastly, the atmosphere in and around the place is lovely. And it's easy to reach from the Königsplatz. My recommendation: Definitely go there when you're in Augsburg.

He tries to only make the food he thinks he's going to sell in order to avoid throwing out food. The restaurant itself has a very nice indie vibe to it, and the owner tries to make it as eco-friendly as possible (solar panels for example)
